Life Directions Weekend - October 3-5th -
2008
Life
Directions Weekend is a
weekend for Single Catholics, ages 18-45, is held
annually in the fall at the Schoenstatt Retreat Center
in Waukesha, Wisconsin. 
Vocation Ministers
of the religious groups of the Milwaukee Archdiocese
will be on hand to provide answers to your questions
and share stories about their calling. You will have
the opportunity to share with others who are also discerning
God's call. Enjoy panel discussions, presentations,
break-out groups, prayer and quiet reflection on God's
invitation.
Meals and accomodations
are provided for by the Serra Clubs of the Milwaukee
Archdiocese at no cost to attendees.
Life Directions
Weekend is free of any pressure of commitment. It is
an experience designed to enable making an informed
vocation choice - whatever and whenever that may be.

Jesuit Weekend at the Novitiate in St. Paul,
Minnesota
October 3-5: Weekend at the Novitiate
in St. Paul, Minnesota. Spend the weekend
with the Jesuit novices, learning about Jesuit life
and training. The weekend starts with Mass at 5:00
p.m. and ends with lunch on Sunday.

at the First Studies
Program at Loyola University in Chicago
October 24-26: Come and See weekend
at the First Studies Program at Loyola University in
Chicago. This weekend experience is for
inquirers who are interested in learning more about Jesuit
life and training and to meet young Jesuits in training. The
weekend starts with Mass at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and ends
with lunch on Sunday.

Dame ~ Come and See Weekend
The School Sisters of Notre Dame
invite you tovisit and get a closer look at
our way of life. If you are the least bit interested
in a vocation as a sister, or simply curious
about religious life as a possible vocation option,
please consider joining us for the weekend.

Single Catholic women, 18 years of age or older
Where:
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 110 Notre Dame Street,
Mount Calvary, WI 53057
What:
Take time with the School Sisters of Notre Dame
at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Mount Calvary,
Wisconsin to pray, explore, learn, relax and
interact with sisters and other women who are
seeking to know where God is leading them.
Enjoy the 36 acres of farmland at Mount Calvary
and take part in a reflective experience at
the SUNSEED Eco-Education Center.

Missionaries - Guatemala Mission Trip
Guatemala --- December
19-29, 2008

On this taste of mission trip you will experience the
hospitality of the poor, learn
about their social and economic realities
and be inspired by their lives.
TRIP OVERVIEW
The cost is held to a minimum, participants
are asked to pay $700 dollars to offset the cost of
the plane ticket. We will be leaving from O’Hare
airport, Chicago, plan to arrive in Chicago at our
Hyde Park house to leave as a
group (other arrangements can be made if you prefer).
All transport within the country will be provided for
as well as food and lodging while in Guatemala (you
will of course need a valid passport). Spanish is not
necessary but helpful. We will be visiting at a special
time of the year, you will be celebrating Christmas
with the church of the poor.
